No

Remember, “no” can come from a place of love.
There is an old, highly prevalent paradigm, which values self-sacrifice, and self-abuse as forms of tremendous excellence. That model is on its way out.

The new paradigm is upon us. This model is one in which dedicated self-care is perceived as the truest form of greatness, and the fastest way to success.

No one in this world can serve from an empty cup. If we truly desire to be of service to others, maintaining healthy boundaries is absolutely essential.
Be willing to lead the charge of self-love, my friends. Know that "no" is loving too.

Allow yourself to slip into the warm embrace of loving dedication to your own wellbeing, and find the tension in the world around you dissipating in response.
We are here to love, starting with ourselves.
We are here to heal, starting with ourselves.
We are here to rise, starting with ourselves.
I know, the whole self-care thing can feel really uncomfortable.
Just try it on, for size…

You might find it fits you better than you would've expected.
