Jump

My dear friends. My loves.

The wind is rushing through your hair, feel that?
Do you hear it whistling in your ears?
Cool fog caresses your skin, go there.
Sensation.
Where wind, meets rain, meets skin, meets flesh.
It took all we had, to come to this point.
We have arrived.
Seemingly eons spent clamoring over unforgiving, jagged peaks. Dragging our heavy hearts across punishing terrain.
Lost.
Alone.
Desperate.
Hanging by a shred of hope.

Then came the precipice.
Do you remember pitch black beyond?
Do you recall the crippling fear, self-doubt?
We called out to the abyss…
Do you remember the echo?

Do you remember the jump?
We leapt.
We let go.
At first, this felt like a free fall. ...until we realized we are flying.
Soaring.

It is all different now, I promise you.
All you have to do it let go.
