Polarity

RESISTANCE IS SIMPLE.

The whole, "US AGAINST THEM" narrative is easy. Uncomplicated. Deceptively comfortable.
Dividing up the world into "in-groups" and "out-groups" makes for apparently straightforward, elementary equations when it comes to embodied human existence.
To define every Being in one's field of awareness as either "LIKE ME," or "NOT LIKE ME," either "friend," or "foe," is a seemingly safe way to perpetuate the illusion of maximum mental control, while requiring minimal emotional involvement. "Good," "bad."
"Right," "wrong."
"Ally," "enemy."
These terms can be emotional crutches. Specious shortcuts past the more potentially challenging facets of interpersonal dynamics. "THOSE people. Over there. They're NOT like me. They're different, evil, heartless, diseased.” “Why, they're BARELY even human."
Sound familiar?

Listen, consciousness is complex beyond reckoning.
Interaction is truly dynamic. Whether between single cells, individual human beings, or distinct species.

If we allow polarized prejudice to overcome empathy, and automatically dismiss portions of reality as inherently "wrong," or "bad," we remove all potential for connection, relatability, and accountability.

So. What if, just for funsies, we were to imagine that EVERY SINGLE entity EVER to do harm in this world, or any other, to be just like us?
What if EVERYTHING, and EVERYONE we might label as an enemy, were infinitely more akin to ourselves than we could EVER comfortably imagine?
What if everything we once closed our Hearts to is ACTUALLY, FACTUALLY, ENDLESSLY deserving of empathy, compassion, respect, and acceptance?

Resistance is simple.
To crack your heart WIDE open, wide enough that EVERYONE, and EVERYTHING is perceived to be another aspect of yourself, and is FULLY embraced into the fold of love...
Now THAT is real WERK.
That is EXTRA.

Accepting, IN TOTALITY, that ALL Beings, EVERYWHERE, are indeed ONE family, ONE Heart, ONE collective, and ONE continuum; a Sacred circle with neither beginning nor end...
This is where ish gets REALLLY REAL.

Hurt people, hurt people.
Oppressed people, oppress people.
Loved people, love people.
I love you.
