Heartbreak

Have you known heartbreak, Beloved?
Not stifled, half-hearted heartbreak. Eat your feelings, toss back a few and forget it ever happened heartbreak.

Talkin' break you open heartbreak. The kind of emotion that tears you down, rips open any hope as defenses, and shreds all preconceived notions of who you think you are.

Talkin' life-changing heartbreak. Talkin' on the floor, knees weak, mind blank, flowing through the raw intensity of the experience.

You know what I'm talkin' about?

Yeah, you know. I know you know. That heartbreak that changes you. Makes you into who you are in days to come. That heartbreak you don't come back from.
Do more of that.
Feel more of that.
Open yourself to more of that.

Now, you might ask "for f*ck's sake, WHY?" Because, what breaks you open, frees you. What eliminates any semblance of composure and propriety, leaves you open to evolution. What shatters who you thought you were, creates space for what you will be.
Heartbreak sets you free.

The poets say, "keep breaking your heart until it opens." Do you agree?
