One

"We are all one." Sounds like a tired platitude. 
A worn-out cliché.
Be that as it may, scientifically, tangibly, practically, it is true.
We truly are one.

One people, one planet, one biosphere. 
One universal experience, expressed and expressing through innumerable iterations. 
The fluctuating electromagnetic oscillations of our individual biomechanical wetware systems are what drive the heartbeat of this dynamic reality. 
It's more than a butterfly effect. 
A relationship of causality and codependence.

It's an inseparable interconnectedness.
At an environmental level. 
At a genetic level. 
At an atomic level.
At a quantum level. 
We are so fundamentally entangled, so interwoven with one another, as to be utterly inextricable. 
Our lives, our hearts, our minds echo through to the depths of our collective fabric.
The hopes and the dreams of each and every one of us collectively shape the unfolding of our world, like pebbles shape the developing curve of a river bank.

We're in this together. 
No doubt about it. 
What we choose to do with that fact is up to us.
