Choices
Stop giving airtime to what other people think of you.
Just stop it.
What you think. How you feel. Who you are. What gets you out of bed in the morning. Being able to like what you see when you look in the mirror.
These are things that matter many orders of magnitude more than what others might think of you.
Sure, seeking advice, feedback, or support from another can be tremendously helpful. We are communal creatures for a reason.
With that being said, measuring yourself against others, or basing your choices solely upon outside opinion, is a waste of your precious energy.
The quantifiable, externally apparent factors which you might be tempted use as a yardstick to calculate your worth or worthiness are, in essence, utterly useless.
Comparing yourself to the superficial achievements of others can do nothing but undermine your confidence.
How much money someone makes is not an indicator of their success. How many subscribers they have does not determine their value as a creator. What sort of car they drive cannot size up their quality of life.
Numbers mean next to nothing.
What someone thinks of you, does not affect who you are.
YOUR choices.
YOUR convictions.
YOUR confidence.
YOUR commitment to your own process.
These are the factors that shape the keynotes of your life. Everything else is peripheral distraction.
Give airtime to what YOU think.
Focus on what YOU feel.
Put in the work.
Walk the talk.
Do the thing.
You got this.
