All Else Follows
Are you breathing, cherished one?
No, not simply shallow, rhythmic susurrations.
Not halted, broken, distracted respirations.
Deep breath.
Resounding breath.
Profoundly nourishing inhalation.
Exquisitely relieving exhalation.
The sort of powerful, palpable breath, which pulls you into your body, into this present moment so completely, that all else fades into twilight.
Are you breathing with attention?
With devotion?
The pure, unadulterated presence which is offered through breath is the most potent medicine which can be procured.
For the body.
For the mind.
For the soul.
The light of consciousness is diffused by distractions.
The illumination of awareness is focused through breath.
As the static hum of what came before and what is to come, melts into oblivion.
You experience an inner expansiveness.
An immeasurable peace.
Like the vastness of the summer sky.
Or like a boundless ocean of ease, gently lapping at the shores of your life.
Breathe, Beloved.
Remember to breathe.
...and all else will follow.
You are love, limitless.
Always, and in all ways.
